Javier Garrido has just announced that he is Norwich City. Liked Javier as a player but just not as good as Olsson.

EDP reporting that Jed Steer's transfer to Aston Villa is imminent. This is apparently form the AV website (PL is quoted). EDP state. "The Canaries are yet to officially confirm Steer's pending departure with Villa now publicly claiming he will join on July 1 as a free agent - leaving City to seek compensation for a player under the age of 24. "
1.) McNally just confirmed it.
2.) He was only ever going to be 4th choice?
3.) Shame, looked a bright prospect.

I believe that EA is out of contract.
GH will be key in the prem.

Ruiz is 30 this summer and I am not sure he fits into the AN mould of player. Plus, Fulham have taken up their one-year option on him and will want to recoup a large proportion of the £11.6M that they paid for him. Not sure he is worth £5-or 6M to us.

Yoshida extended his contract at Saints in January to 2018 so seems unlikely.
Likewise I cannot see Liverpool letting Ibe go.
But both would be great signings if we could get them. {Ed001's Note - Jordon Ibe just signed a new contract, he is not available for transfer, nor would Norwich be able to afford him anyway. It is highly unlikely a loan move for him would be considered either.}

What! As a Norwich-lad born and bred, I know only too well that it is a large town /small city in terms of its size. Wiki ranks it as the 38th largest urban area in the UK by size of population.
