Really!! Is that the extent of the clubs ambition, 2 ageing has beens that are now championship class at best. We have the finances to stay in the premiership, if the clubs intent is just get there to boost the coffers I will keep my season ticket money in my back pocket

Both are proven goal scorers and would probably be happy as backup strikers to add to the squad.

We don't need "back-up" strikers FFS we need players that will keep us in the PL. Ask yourselve are they any better than what we've got? No they are not

Calm down mate. think about it, our upfront consists of Jerome, Hooper and RVW who all didn't score enough premier league goals and grabban who is untested. We may need a proven prem goal scorer.

So Zamora kept QPR in the prem, and Lambert fired Liverpool into the champions league then,also our strikers were playing under Hughton, I don't think Suarez & Aguero would have faired much better, still if you all think the likes of Lambert & Zamora would be good for our club then fill you boots

That's a fair point but you can't blame everything on Hughton. Personally I would have no problem with Lambert joining us

Where do these rumours even start? Surely we can't tell if people are just making it up. Like I could just say Norwich are interestd in signing Jonjo Shelvey and the next thing you know BBC will be saying it :L

If you look at the stats in depth you will find that Gary Hooper was indeed our best striker this season. Goals vs minutes payed he actually came out on top. I would like to see more of him this season as I strongly believe there is a lot more to come from him
