Apparently Norwich are interested in signing Barry bannan? Why do we need Barry bannan? We don't need a midfielder, we need a goal scorer and a defender.

We might as well buy Brady because we have spent about a month penny pinching to try and get a bargain for him, when we know we can only meet the asking price of him to get the deal.

Signing Brady might give us a better chance of getting Lambert. Gestede is rumoured to be heading to Villa and Watford are also said to have bid. No sign from us of a bid. Our new head of recruitment is known to have a shockingly low rate of success in signing players. Not good news for the manager but the club will save a fortune in transfer fees. As Yoda said there is no "try" there is only do or do not.

In what football world does a head of recruitment sign the players? Think you are getting confused with director of football role.
McNally and the executive board have and always will be doing the negotiating and getting players signed up. Targets for this window would have been identified at least 6 months ago, like every club. This new chap probably has little influence in terms of identifying players in the current window. I wish ncfc fans would wake up to this before panicking about signings.
