What happened to Mbokani?

Norwich did not offer asking price plus complications as players former club was owed money by his present club. Presumably this could still be sorted.

I hate to be so negative guys, but bearing in mind we are just 18 days from the start of the season and the squad is in the middle of its tour, can't see us bringing in any names which are going to make a difference at this point. Some of the linked players that are being leaked, are starting to sound like desperate options. Lambert??? Really?? Might as well get Grant Holt in on loan.

I'm starting to wonder if we have the pulling power to attract these so called players that we are being linked with or even ones that haven't surfaced yet. We are probably favourites for relegation already and this may play on the player(s) minds. I hope I'm proven wrong but with this squad of players we have I fear the worst. Need 2 quality centre backs, a playmaker in midfield and some muscle up front who can score goals.

It isn't pulling power that is lacking. We are making low ball bids on our targets. Then blaming the potential vendors when our low ball valuations do not meet the figure at which a sale can be agreed. It is high risk. We won't do some deals until near the close of the window this way because selling clubs will want to wait for other bids to emerge rather than take our low offer. Some deals may not get done at all. Yes the club are working hard but that is no excuse if the hard work is ineffectual. There is no way we would sell our best players cheaply so expecting others to do so is disingenuous at best. Deals done on deadline day mean that players signed will miss preseason and the first month of the season. Watford and Bournemouth are concluding their business - we haven't even spent the money from Fer and Snodgrass yet. What is our board doing? Busy doing nothing one imagines.

exactly right, I said the same thing and got a barrage of abuse earlier, we are taking the micheal bidding low low bids for good players, it make us looklike idiots, we demand 7m for snoddy yet refuse the same for brady??? really??? if we value him so low is he good enough to keep us in prem, speculate to accumulate, something Norwich never have and never will do!!

Actually Hull want £8m for Brady which frankly even in today's inflated prices is way over the top, if he wants to come, and Hull do not get another offer which looks likely, with him having just 12 months on his current deal and not signing a new contract, suspect Hull will eventually sell him for the £6m already offered.

Despite the criticism on here for Norwich making so called low bids, do we really want to throw cash at a player just to get him if the management don't think his price is right?

Watford have signed many from abroad and they all represent gambles, because has anyone actually heard about any of these players. time will tell, but I prefer a more prudent management that keep the club viable instead of going the way of QPR, Portsmouth, Coventry, Bolton, Wigan, Leeds, Fulham etc, all these clubs chased the dream, spent too much on players and wages because their owners had money and look where it got them.

give the Management and the manager the support they deserve and they just might surprise you.

Just a follow up to above response, Bruce I believe spent over £23m last year on players at Hull, certainly overpaid for some of them including inflated wages hence the need for them to get rid of their high earners, not great management, and his continual outbursts about Brady and his price suggests they have not received any other enquiries for him, he is sounding a bit like a second hand car dealer trying to sell an over priced dodgy motor, hopefully. Norwich will ignore him and find another suitable player at a sensible price.

There is a certain resemblance between Bruce & Harry Rednapp both with too much to say for themselves and yet neither setting the coaching world alight.
