A tabloid is reporting we may be interested in Carlton Cole. Is there a striker we are not interested in?

Linked with Leicester, 31 years old and not exactly prolific with a 1: 5 goals to games ratio. A genuine sort though with a good reputation as a team player. Fits the bill of big target man with Prem experience but do we believe has 15 prem goals a season in him. The stats say no. The best thing we can do is to let Ranieri have him.

More trash tabloid reporting, if we start going after 30+ players not deemed good enough by his former premiership club West Ham then we would be going backwards.

Suspect it's just another totally unsupported rumour by a press looking to fill their pages on a slow day, about like the Murphy rumour.
