Diego Capel to Norwich City is almost a done deal, after Sporting Lisbon accepted a £4 Mil offer {Ed015's Note - According to some itk account, Swansea seem in pole position for his signature.}

Apparantly liverpool and marseille are looking at him for 10m

2.) 03 Jun 2013
All over twitter, no smoke without fire and all that

3.) 03 Jun 2013
Sporting have said after there new president was appointed no more players will be sold unless valuation is meet and rui there goalkeeper is valued at 17m and capel is valued 12m so unless someone pays that they won't go. Look up the Portugal news when it got changed.

If they want to do the deal they'll do it. they can always say the agreemnt was ratified under the past regime

5.) 04 Jun 2013
Hope so would be an excellent signing

I have friends in Lisbon and they tell me that Capel is valued at around 8m. That's backed up by another internet site (transfermarket. co. uk) which aren't usually that far away concerning figures. Also I seem to remember that not so long ago city were rumoured to be considering spending 8m on a midfielder/striker, so I think that just might all tally with a genuine city interest. However 4m. that's just to low and wouldn't be accepted by Sporting in a month of Sundays especially as they know that there are clubs in Europe (plus I suspect a couple here as well) who would pay the 8m without even drawing breath.

If he is that good then we should pay £12 m. We have money

8.) 04 Jun 2013
We do have money, but not a bottomless pit!

Transfer values are flexible - as the RVW deal proves if you have cash up front as opposed to staged payments and player swaps etc.

4m, 8m 10m 12m and 17m, transfer values aren't that flexible. It's 8m and I just hope the board is prepared to pay that because he would improve the team heaps.
