Who agrees with me that we need another CB? Hopefully we can bag toby alderweireld from Ajax he is such a good defender and if we can get him for £10m or maybe abit less that would be fantastic for us!

The deal with the club was already agreed. 6.5mil. According to half the reports, the deal's dead already. According to the other half, he's going to be mulling it over for the next couple of weeks. Everton Bid apparently so he's more likely to go there.

Everton have got him on radar but no bids yet, they will only go in for him if they sell Baines or Fellani, because they have apparently have no cash to spend yet, carrying quite a bit of debt and until the new deal money starts to come in they are likely to wait until Baines and Fellani are sold, and at present these have both gone quiet, if they sell both McCarthy from Wigan and perhaps Alderweireld are their prime targets

Eveton have not placed a bid for Alderweireld, nor have they agreed a price yet with selling club. they are rumoured to be interested in him, that's all at this stage.

Alderweireld should come to debt free Norwich. There will be some amazing progress over the next few seasons: New stand/stands (on top of the Jarrold and new city stand) taking the capacity up to 35/40,000; no debt; more players of international quality and one of the most loyal home crouds in the country (22,000 in league 1). The atmosphere at a full 35/40,000 Carrow road will be unbelievable! So Mr Alderweireld join now to become part of the Norfolk revolution! That goes for you Toivonen too!

Alderweireld's agent has claimed that the bid has been made, and it was of a similar standard to our bid which was accepted, could be a ruse though, to get other clubs interested more quickly.
